Past Research Activities of the USRI
The Institute was involved in collaborative and individual research activities conducted by Research Associates. Some of the research projects for the period under review are as follows:

Postgraduate Students’ Research
The Institute accommodated and encouraged postgraduate research projects in sugarcane and sugar-related subjects. The Institute normally contribute through the provision of land, planting materials and technical assistance to the students.
