To reduce greenhouse gas emissions and generate a sustainable power supply that aligns with the Institute’s mandate on sugarcane research and technology. On the 6^th of May 2025, through the support of our visionary Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, a 7 KVA Solar System was installed in the institute, which is sufficient to power appliances and lab equipment. This serves as a foundation for sustainability, with more expected in the near future.
